The Roosevelt Inn, Coeur d'Alene

The hotel had a mix of pros and cons. While the rooms were dated and had quirky fixtures, they were as described and had a unique decor. The service was exceptional but had some minor hiccups. The location was fantastic, near various attractions, but the dining experience had limitations. Overall, it offered a unique stay with room for improvement.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great moments. The rooms were beautifully decorated with individual Christmas trees, but they needed more lighting, and the foofy curtains made them look smaller. The service was generally top-notch, with friendly staff welcoming us warmly. However, there was one unfortunate incident with a staff member which tainted the experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Downtown and Tubbs Hill, but some security measures needed improvement. The dining experience, although filling, was uninspired. The facilities were adequate, with no major standout features.

The hotel is like a quiet oasis close to the downtown core, offering friendly service and delicious dining. The rooms, though small, were exactly as described and fulfilled their purpose, but lacking space for personal belongings. It's a great location for walks and serene moments, but could improve on room size.
